Experience

For passengers

You get the car first, the normal way. Digital Taxi Meter then makes that trip organized: the fare is calculated on the distance actually travelled, the trip is documented, and you can let someone you trust know who is driving you.

Digital Taxi Meter is not a taxi-booking app

DTM does not send a car to you. You get the car first through the normal local market — then DTM helps organize, calculate and document the trip.

In the application

What a passenger gets

Start after you get the car

Use DTM once you are in the car — start the trip by scanning the driver's QR code or using the approved direct-start method.

A digitally calculated fare

The fare is calculated according to the applicable local tariff, based on the distance actually travelled plus additional time where the tariff includes it.

A recorded trip

The trip is recorded with the driver, vehicle and start-time information attached to it.

Trip information you can review

Relevant trip information is visible to the passenger during and after the trip.

Trip history

A record of completed trips, according to the capabilities of the application.

A more organized experience

A documented, structured alternative to an unrecorded cash trip.

On screen

You already have the car — then you start the trip

Your code is shown to the driver to link the trip.

The trip runs and is recorded until it ends.

Ride With Confidence

Let someone you trust know who is driving you

Once the trip has started, the passenger can press Send and share the trip details with selected trusted contacts — a parent, a family member or any trusted person.

What can be shared: driver information, vehicle information and the trip start time.

It is a safety feature, not a chat feature. There is no messaging or calling between passenger and driver inside DTM.

What DTM is not

Digital Taxi Meter is not a ride-hailing marketplace. It does not book taxis, does not dispatch vehicles, does not match passengers with drivers, and does not provide direct messaging or calling between passengers and drivers.

Ready to lead Digital Taxi Meter in your country?

Applications are reviewed individually. Capability, resources and a realistic plan matter more than enthusiasm.
