Process

How it works

Two processes matter here: how a Digital Taxi Meter trip works for drivers and passengers, and how a Country Partner is selected and launched.

The trip

A Digital Taxi Meter trip

DTM does not book or dispatch a car. The passenger gets the car first; DTM organizes, calculates and documents the trip.

  1. 01

    Get a car

The passenger gets a car through the normal local market — DTM does not dispatch or match rides.

  2. 02

    Start digitally

The passenger scans the driver's QR code, or uses the approved direct-start method, and the applicable fare level can be selected.

  3. 03

    Record and share

Driver information, vehicle information and start time are recorded, and can be shared with trusted contacts.

  4. 04

    Measure the actual journey

The distance actually travelled is measured, plus additional time according to the applicable local tariff.

  5. 05

    End the trip

The trip is ended and the final fare is displayed to both sides.

  6. 06

    Pay the driver

The passenger pays using the payment method appropriate for the local market.

In the application

Start → drive → end

The same trip, as it appears on screen. The passenger already has the car; the application organizes, measures and documents the journey.

02The passenger's code is shown to the driver to link the trip.

03Without a code, the trip starts directly at the applicable fare level.

04The trip runs and is recorded until the driver ends it.

The partnership

Becoming a Country Partner

  1. 01

    Application

You submit a detailed country application covering experience, resources, expectations and strategy.

  2. 02

    Review

UP2TOP reviews the application, the market potential and the candidate's capability.

  3. 03

    Interview and business plan

Shortlisted candidates discuss their plan, targets and launch budget with UP2TOP management.

  4. 04

    Agreement

Growth targets, revenue share and all commercial terms are defined in a signed partnership agreement.

  5. 05

    Launch

Country launch with a defined initial period, marketing plan and operational setup.

  6. 06

    Scale and report

Ongoing growth, regional collaborators, periodic reporting and performance review.

Settlement

How the revenue share is settled

The Partner's share is calculated on actual revenue generated from driver wallet top-ups in the Partner's country.

The Partner transfers UP2TOP's share through the agreed external payment method and uploads the transfer proof and details through the Partner system.

An administrator reviews and confirms the payment and applies it against the outstanding amount.
